El Dorado cooks the food of the Dominican Republic in Staten Island: mangú con los tres golpes in the morning, then mofongo, pernil, rabo guisado and chicharrón de pollo through the day, and family combos with rice, beans and maduros for the whole table.
The menu is written in English and Spanish, and it reaches past the island too, with burgers, sandwiches, quesadillas and tacos beside the chicharrón. Finish with a batido of guanábana or papaya, a fresh parcha juice, flan or tres leches.
